Registration Now Open for AFA’s Annual Global Warfare Symposium

Though we are less than three weeks away from AFA's 2011 Air & Space Conference, we are already getting ready for our November symposium in Los Angeles.

AFA will be hosting the annual Global Warfare Symposium November 17 to November 18, 2011. This year’s symposium will be held at a new location, the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. This new location allows the symposium additional space to include more presentations and several break-out sessions.

This unique two-day symposium, themed “Rethinking Global Conflicts in the 21st Century," will center on the global role of the Air Force in the world today. Expect to hear timely presentations on nuclear enterprise; cyberspace; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; expeditionary forces; space; and global threats.

Confirmed speakers include General Philip Breedlove, Vice Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force; General William Shelton, Commander, Air Force Space Command, retired USAF Lt. Gen. David Deptula, the first Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance; Mark Lewis, former Chief Scientist of the Air Force; and more. Also, RAND Corp. will be hosting several panel discussions.

This November symposium, accompanied with the Air Force Ball, is a special part of AFA’s heritage and provides an opportunity to share ideas with highly skilled aerospace and Air Force professionals. Over the next few weeks, look for additional speakers and other information updates at www.AFA.org.

REGISTRATION just opened up today. So being making preparations to be a part of AFA’s national forum on global warfare. Registration details can be found at https://registration.afa.org/events/la2011reghome.aspx.
