This weekend, Arlington Sports, Inc. is conducting the annual Air Force
Cycling Classic – held in the Crystal City, Pentagon, Air Force Memorial
area. There is a combination of events, amateur and professional, for
those who enjoy cycling to participate.
This
year, the Classic has designated AFA’s Wounded Airman Program as the principal
beneficiary. AFA will receive money raised through pledges made by those
participating in Sunday’s Air Force Cycling Challenge Crystal Ride as part of
Team Sabre. While most of the entries are sold out, there are a few left
for those who want to ride.
For
more information see: www.AirForceCyclingClassic.com
Additionally,

For
those of you who do not live near DC and who want to contribute, you can make
donations to the Wounded Airman program at: https://www.afa.org/afa_donation_form/default.asp?pm=show_form&dm=g

Finally
… and this is important– I want to formally thank the sponsors of the
event. You can find them on the first link above … but notable is the
presenting sponsor – The Boeing Company. Thank you to all of the
industrial partners of the event.
