Air Force Association and Air Force Sergeants Association to Host Veterans Day Ceremony at the Air Force Memorial

Join the Air Force Association and the Air Force Sergeants Association as they co-host a Veterans Day Wreath-Laying Ceremony at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 11, 2013, at the Air Force Memorial.

The guest speaker for the event will be Lt. Gen. Stephen L. Hoog, Assistant Vice Chief of Staff for the USAF. Other remarks will be provided by retired Air Force Gen. John A. Shaud from AFA and retired Master Sgt. Morgan Brown from AFSA. The event is free and open to the public.

The ceremony will be held in honor of the veterans of the United States military with gratitude for their dedication, loyalty, and service to our great nation.

“Millions of men and women of the U.S. military have volunteered from generation to generation in service of our country,” said George Muellner, AFA Chairman of the Board. “We join the nation on this day in showing our appreciation for the sacrifices made in their lives to protect our freedoms.”
