Farewell to Mike Dunn as AFA President

While last week we had Mike Dunn's final note as the AFA President, today we bid our farewells to him at the AFA Headquarters. During his five-year tenure, he has illustrated his dedication to Air Force airpower advocacy and has overseen countless initiatives of this organization, including:
  • Expansion of our national conferences, essentially doubling the number of speakers and sessions
  • Creation of the Air Power Advocates group
  • Expansion of the scope of the Mitchell Institute for Airpower Studies
  • Launch of CyberPatriot, the nation's largest high school cyber defense competition
  • Launch and growth of AFA's social media endeavors
  • Increasing the accessibility and transparency of AFA with his Notes from the AFA President.
The list truly goes on. AFA and the Air Force has truly benefited from the leadership of General Dunn. We wish him the best of luck in his retirement and future plans.
